My intended 16gig 2400 is 10k bdt (my local currency)

And if I take ryzen then there's 14k for the 16gig 3200 ram and an even better cooler that'll cost me approximately 5k more than the intel combo

80bdt = 1usd

60 bucks more and the ability to overclock in the future? double the treads? higher ram speed? I would do it.

know that b350 and b360 are two completely different boards. b350 and b450 are amd and b360 is intel. what boards are we talking about? pro4 maybe?

The cheapest tier, similar to the d2v for intel

well, at least get something with a vrm heatsink. How much would the following boards cost you?

  • asus strix (B350/B450)-f gaming
  • msi tomahawk (b450 only)
  • gigabyte Aorus pro (b350/b450)
  • asrock B450 pro4 (atx)
  • Gigabyte aorus elite (b350/b450)
  • asus TUF (b450/b350)
  • asrock fatal1ty (b350/b450)

No idea where you heard AMD motherboards cost more. That's wrong. Intel motherboards usually cost more.

In that case i'd go for the RX 590.

Ryzen isn't good at gaming :3 and I'll strictly game

that's one big mith. challenge you with an overclocked 2600 against a 8400? I'll probebly win. Intel isn't what it used to be against amd in the fx time.

Edited by LukeSavenije
intel vs intel or intel vs amd...

@LukeSavenije @mxk. 2600 can be OC'ed but i find it very risky to OC as my country gets hot 40° and humidity is very high. And intel's single core gives more performance at a lower temp. That's mostly why I'm afraid of AMD

well, also not true in this case. the 2600 even without overclock will go on par with the 8400 in games

Yeah, nice motherboard imo. Ryzen has a big uprade path, so a vrm heatsink is kinda a requirement to run higher end chips (I even recommend it for r3+)

My country + insane import tax

That's what it is for everything single piece of electronic hardware

I mean, the 1060 6gb and rx 590 costs $350 and $360 respectively and while 1070ti OC is $500 the 1070 stock is $650

Everything's ****ed up man

well, I can believe that. Even my prices are high here, but I can order everywhere in the European Union without taxes, so that helps. but not those creazy prices. Althrough I paid more for my 1070 ti than that....
