Use Old Graphics Card Because No APU?

I want to get a Ryzen 2600 chip but i wont have enough money for a graphics card right away,so will using a outdated 2002 (500MB vram) card just so i can have a display set me back in any way that will be annoying or make the system unusable   (casual youtube,no games or graphics intensive stuff).

If its actually from 2002, it  won't work as its probably not pcie(pcie came out in 2004), and if it did work, that would probably be too slow for things like youtube.

 

What gpu is it exactly.

really a card that old would probably have a hard time with even just Youtube. You can get like a b-stock GT610 for 20 bucks though and it'll work enough, or see of someone you know would be kind enough to let you use an old GPU until you can afford your own.

you can buy a gt 210 for cheap

I'd say that bare minimum for youtube these days

 

I'd drop down to a ryzen 1st gen chip

with a gpu

Just note that your motherboard socket has to be AM4, etc.  If you are just buying a chip, and nothing else - you may as well use it as a crappy paperweight!

it was used with a 1050p monitor back in the days when it was considered a gpu
