My GPU is starting to get hot to the touch

Sometimes, sheer lack of moving air compound the heat issue, basically hot air is vented from the heatsink on the card, but there's no dedicated case fan to help vent out the warm air within, or case fans used aren't quite good enough.. I'd just realized that with 2x 3rd party cooler RX VEGA 64's heat does build up pretty quickly, with just 3 loops of Metro LL Redux benchmark run, my primary card hit 81C. The three bottom case fan do not move much air at all due to being capable of just 38CFM (with dust filters added to the mix). So, obviously the bottom/secondary card runs cooler while the top/primary card stew since no cool exterior air gets to it.

 

I added some more powerful fans (60CFM and higher), even positioned two fans (secured with cable ties no less) to push air across the cards. After 5 loops of the Metro LL Redux benchmark run, max temp hit 73C, I'm pleased with the result but am monitoring the new fan setup for now. Having no fan to move warm air out of the case only exacerbates matter. I'd suggest that OP tries to improve the airflow situation within the case as I don't see any exhaust fan, the fan on the PSU doesn't really count.
