White stuff on edge of mousepad?

DrThots

I've been only using this for 3 Days and this has ONLY appeared by the place I place my wrist and play in. I can't seem to wipe it off? Is it fraying already?

That's basically dust and dead skin getting caught on the edge of the fabric.

You can pull or cut it off.

It doesn't happen as much if the mouse pad has stitched edges.
