Hello i have learned a thing or 2 about this mining stuff and i heard a few bad things about it such as increasing your power bill?

My specs are:

Amd A4-340 APU

Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2

4 GB DDR3 1333 Mhz

Nvidia GTS 450

Would it be ok if i start mining?

And what are the risks of mining?

No, not that much benefit or a profit as it gets harder each day with more people starting.

Hope I could help!

Sorry, I didn't mean a full day, but more like half a day. The worker did collect something like 0.000001 BTC, but it seems like it was going nowhere, so I just turned it off. The next day it managed to collect about 1 pence worth of bitcoin and I just figured is it not worth it.

oh youre mining bitcoins. Defo doing it wrong, try litecoins, you would have gotten 0.2LTC if you mined all day with both of these

No.

A better way to make money with bitcoin is to treat it as a commodity (which it is): buy low, sell high.

The GTS 450 will yield literally nothing. I gave Litecoin mining a go on my 760 about 6 weeks ago and was getting about 1.5ltc per day with a big overclock. Bitcoin is vastly more difficult to mine and like I said, the 450 won't be worth the time.
