Probably the MSI one, apparently Razer QC has been terrible in recent years, though stuff 2014 and prior is good.

Msi qc isnt any better. Definitely not better in the gs series.

Personally I'd rather have the razer. At least it looks nicer.

I'd go for the GS65 really, I really like the gold finish, it looks luxurious and the aesthetics it creates doesn't scream "gamingggggg!!!!!1!" to other people. But if you want that slick RGB, go for the Blade 15. I don't like their keyboards tho.

Also you might want to check out the Gigabyte Aero 15X. Linus did a review of this thing a few months (?) ago, and I'm not sure if it has gotten any better since then. Nonetheless, it's a solid laptop.

It has issues too, but more minor ones. Again, no laptop is perfect

If you're looking around that price then you need to start looking at what processor is going to take advantage of the programs you're focusing on as well as a laptop thats going to cool that CPU/GPU extremely well. The two that you've asked about are good laptops for the specs but i'd start looking at reliability, build quality, cooling solutions, portability, screen size, aspect ratio, and most of all the customer service if it ever needs to be serviced.

If you don't have any preference on weight and battery life, why don't go for bulkier laptops with better cooling. There are many good options under 3kg

Does your workload benefit from Quadro? (sorry if you feel like I'm asking too much questions, just want to ensure that I give the right recommendations)

Then go for true mobile workstations like Thinkpad P52, Precision 7730, Zbook 15 G5 (usually overpriced)
