Pasting images false error

vanished
Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

I reproduced this, but I can't seem to be able to do it again...

When it happens, has the upload bar at the bottom of the editor loaded fully when you started the paste?

Sometimes I use snipping tool to select an area of the screen, which automatically puts it on the clipboard.

Other times I use "copy image" to grab it from a webpage.

Either way, I then control + v to paste it in a post here on the forum, and get the following error (sometimes)

image.png.365ef77385c86051200af44788aad6b5.png

I then ignore the error and control + v again, only to have it work as expected.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I reproduced this, but I can't seem to be able to do it again...

When it happens, has the upload bar at the bottom of the editor loaded fully when you started the paste?

Hmmmm interesting.  I haven't really paid attention to that but I'll keep it in mind and let you know if I notice a pattern.

I know this is old but it hasn't come up often so it's taken a while to be confident in a pattern, but I think this is indeed the cause.
