alright so i wanna choose a monitor but i dont know which one, tech gods, assist me

 

ASUS VG248QE

or

Acer GN246HL 

or

Zowie by BenQ XL2411P

or

AOC G2460PF 

(has freesync but idk if im gonna get an amd gpu or nah)

 

i am using scorptec.com.au and newegg.com.au

if you guys have any suggestions that i can buy in aus thats under $330 AUD id love to hear em, thanks!

I really enjoyed my BenQ XL2720Z. However after switching to a IPS 100Hz ultrawide I wouldn’t go back unless I’m playing CSGO.

From your choices

Asus: Best color compared to the others (but still not a good color), supported a dead technology like 3D. Costly

Acer: Cheap. about the same spec as Asus. But shitty build quality. Monitor stand is the worst and not very adjustable.

AOC: Washed out color. But exterior build quality is good. Monitor stand is pretty strong.

BenQ: Nerfed version of XL2430. a little bit better color than AOC. build quality is pretty ok.

 

If you mainly focus on competitive gaming like dota or csgo, then just go for the cheapest one. All of them have low response time and high refresh rate. You can't expect a high image quality from a budget gaming monitor.

P.S. btw a washed out color sometime it gives you a slight advantage in competitive game. You can see a bit clearer in the dark scene.

I would go for Asus as it's currently having a good deal on Scorptec.
