Dropped Monitor and now there is vertical and horizontal lines going through the display!

So earlier i was moving my monitor and when i dropped it the screen landed on my knee. Now when i plug it in there are multiple verticle coloured lines and a clump of white horizontal lines on the top. am i f'ed? 

My monitor is a Acer Predator XB252Q and im screwed if its broken forever.

At least it's not an apple but either way, thats not covered by warranty so yes, you are f#cked.

Yep. Also those are fairly common with Acer anyway. Mine died a death like that without any kind of physical damage to it.

Sure, if you have deep pockets. It's likely to cost more to fix than to buy new (I did screen/electronic repair for many years....)

Yup, anything is repairable given enough time and money. However, a replacement would be more cost effective, since you've damaged the panel itself during the drop. For someone to fix this they'd basically be replacing everything except the plastic case/stand, and maybe the monitor control board, but even then, by the time you factor in labor to disassemble it, you'd be spending as much as a new one.
