I'm in the process of packing for LTX and was curious to see what you folks are bringing as well! Let's share and hope we didn't forget anything  

 

• Visa/Passport
• LTX Tickets
• Drivers License/ Secondary ID
• Phone/Camera
• Powerbank
• Nourishment (food/water)
• Money for swag
• Bag for swag
• Sharpies for autographs
• Devices to autograph
• Change of clothes (just in case)
• CPU (if you plan on delidding it)

Edit-

• Buttwipes (DSC shoutout!)
• Disinfecting wipes/ Alcohol swabs
• Microfiber cloth (incase you wear glasses)

Probably just me, but also not eating 24 hours before the event so using the restrooms not needed; I mean, 5,000+ people; I'd rather not be using the restroom, haha

• Gas before you enter the Greater Vancouver Regional District (18.5c/litre gas tax)

Gas tax helps pay for roads and transit so i personally have no prpblem paying more for it

Just transit. Though I am a supporter of that.

 

Consider that the CEO of TransLink makes in excess of $400,000 a year + bonuses though... I think we can survive without some of the revenue.

Hydro one guy made like 4 million in Ontario

 

And considering I work for a commercial cardlock i wish i could say there was margin in it for us but there isnt

We are throwing 2.6 billion dollars away for a 10km streetcar system with capacity of 2000 PPPHD

 

 

That's only 75% of the old 98 BUSWAY. 

 

That costed 52 million dollars to build 16km.
