Premoz1

I need good gaming monitor, so recommend me good one. I am going to build new pc soon, and now I need to only choose monitor. These are requirements: 144hz, 1080p, 24", and I want to be able to move the monitor. And when someone recommends me good one, remember to say that what are the fails if there is any. Thank

well ok i keep looking but heres something i found interesting 240Hz 400cd/m²

https://skinflint.co.uk/acer-xf0-xf250qbmidprx-um-kx0ee-a01-a1715974.html

well thats a bit tricky because they get dark pretty quickly

this one is 144Hz VA but only 250cd/m² thats as low as it gets.

https://skinflint.co.uk/aoc-c24g1-a1847097.html

how flexible are you on size? would 27" for example also be good or does it need to be 24"

this ones a bit pricier but 144Hz VA, 350cd/m² which i would consider pretty decent and the arm gives you pretty good ergonomy

first IPS with that Hz is

Recommend me some 1080p, more than 250 cd/m2 16:9 and max price 250

ok so lets get the specs straight:

1080p - check

> 250cd/m² - check

16:9 - check (pretty obvious at that budget)

< 250€ - check

TN / IPS / VA - ?

144Hz - ?

> 24" - ?

Because some people say it has poor color and you cant move the panel.

Yes, 144hz, and it CAN be more than 24" but I do not want more resolution than 1080p. And you can choose one of the TN/IPS/VA

while maybe not they most gamery looking ones id still for one these 2 somewhat withing your budget just by spec. havent seen them or used them but the spec looks good even though i find curved to be unneccessary at that size and aspect ratio but still with 350 cd/m² VA 144 Hz and that arm also looks pretty good id go for on of these:

https://skinflint.co.uk/?cmp=1502763&cmp=1502773

or again if you want to experiment and maybe get a TN and get crazy then one of these

https://skinflint.co.uk/?cmp=1715974&cmp=1828202&cmp=1775666

also i looked at german pricing for all of these so maybe theres some play there but if you have a prefered site you order from ill gladly check it out.

i only ever used cheapo TN panels so im not a fan but maybe better qualitly panel likes these (i asume at that price) are way better and totally fine? they do have 240Hz and 400cd/m² which brightness for me is a big factor so maybe thy look really good.

i usually pick panel type like this:

TN - cheapo option or like in this case high refresh rate

IPS - work stuff for their great viewing angles but sadly not good at low light because of IPS glow keeps bothering me

VA - better blacks so usually a good choice i find for darker scenarios and since i mostly play games or watch stuff in the evening or night... but viewing angles mostly suck just as bad a TN panels which is fine if you sit right in front of it like when gaming but anoying for wrk stuff

I have checked your recommendations, but I cant remember names, but is Asus VG Serie VG248QE good, and have you already recommended it to me? I dont know shit about monitors, only panels, resolution, and hz. So could you say disadvantages and advantages of buying that.. Not going to watch 30 minute reviews.. So it would help a lot if you would just say all disadvantages and advantages right here. Thank you.

Tbh I went to watch some reviews, and one guy said that "You need nvidia graphics card and they need to support 3d.. So does that matter? What it does?

And sorry for spam, but I forgot to say that he said "You need powerful gpu" ofc, so is 1060 6gb dual oc good enough to play games like pubg 1080p 60 fps on (Atleast) medium settings? btw I got amd ryzen 5 1600, 250 samsung evo 860 ssd, 16gb kingston ripjaws V ram. So are those specs good enough to run pubg or other games that require bit more than normal games?

well its a gloss black finish so it scratches very very easily and looks like its all very cheapish plastic which it usually is, grated, but i hated hearing the plastic making noise everytime i bump the table and the monitor wobbles so much that i mounted mine to the wall just to make sure.

other than that theres not much to tell its probably fine but from the specs alone id rather go with one of these. they are brighter and the latter 2 also have 8bit color instead of 6 and for comparison i included your suggested monitor in the comparison page

thats ture but 3D Vision would also require glasses and is long dead anyway. i dont believe nvidia give a shit about nvidia 3d vision anymore.

it works almost like the 3D Movies in the cinema but TVs dont do it anymore and monitor dont either its dead.

never played PUBG so i couldnt really tell you performance wise maybe look up benchmarks for that GPU on PUBG

but if thats the goal i think 144Hz might be overkill for a 1060 but i guess that open for interpretation

No IPS panels exist in the 1080P high refresh rate realm. You would have to get a TN panel for that.

The BenQ XL 24" is a flicker-free panel if that matters to you. But none have amazing picture quality.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
