No DDR type in my RAM, help

Go to solution Solved by AskTJ,

DDR4 ram. i3 7100 and the H110 chipset uses DDR4 ram only.

I don't know what type of DDR ram I have since there's none to show in my Task manager. Does this mean my RAM stick has no DDR on it?

Since it says the speed is 2133MHz, I think it's DDR4.

Task manager doesn't show the memory type to begin with.

Based on the speed you either have some fast DDR3, or, more likely, basic DDR4 memory.

What motherboard do you have?

CPU-z would tell you for 100%, there is ever so super slight chance its DDR3L but too unlike I'll say its a value select DDR4 since it's 2133mhz.

Thanks. Since for a second thought, I thought I got a low-end RAM or something. Since I am going to upgrade my PC soon.
