okay this is probably a stupid question to ask but I was looking at the 2400 that just came out like two months or something ago and was curious if the 2700x had interal graphics at all. I'm planning on buying it and I'm mainly just concerned that I won't be able to post if it doesn't have a gpu which I'm waiting on when prices go down. It would be horrible if I had to wait till the gpu arrived to figure out I had some DOA parts that would be now past return period.

Only PCIE GPUs will work.

Just buy some used 5770 or something for $30. Even a 8800GTX would be fine given you had the right PSU.

Theoretically, there's no reason why it shouldn't work, as long as it's PCIe and all you want to do with it is get it to post.

As long as it's PCIe it should work, and ATI was the Red team before AMD bought them out in 2006.

Yeah, probably.

yes, that exact one. I got it for free at a garage sale. It still spins up and displays to a screen when testing it out on my older pc build.

I normally would but I've been finding myself great deal on certain items.Like I got a corsair plat. 750 power supply for like 85$ new and some RGB 2X8 sticks 2666 for like 145$. I got lucky with my local computer part store and they were open box but still brand new and unused. Thing is I just want to test to make sure they work. If those two items are not DOA then honestly I would be fine waiting for the rest. Just don't know how to get around to testing them.

If they are new they have life time warrenty on ram and 5 years on a psu xD so it doesn't matter that much. Prices of tech is going down all the time so buying bits here and there is a bad idea

Didn't know about the whole lifetime ram warranty. if that's the case then I can wait, honestly, I haven't been too excited about choosing a motherboard anyways. All the Micro atx Am4 boards look ugly as sin at the moment or are missing something important to then build. Thanks for the advice.

Actually I can confirm that G.Skill life time warranty works regardless if you are the original buyer or not, they RMA my pair of TridentZ's I bought second hand and had a one of the sticks dead on arrival... I hadn't an invoice or any thing of any kind, but the RAM still had the warranty stickers on and original packing...

Gave it a try and they done it all for me replacing it for a sealed brand new 2x8gb kit.... so if you're buying used ram, buy G.Skill... Most other brands though indeed gives you a hard time if you don't have a recipe or invoice, like Corsair which gave my brother hell of a nightmare in RMA'ing process.

Wow, second-hand lifetime warranty technically as well? I wish I could have known that because right now my rig will be rocking some corsair ram. I'll have to check out if corsair ram specifically has a lifetime warranty.
