AOC G2460PF colour

Nik_

Recently bought and just received a AOC g2460pf. Obivously being a tn panel I didn't expect it to be beautiful I just can't get the colours to a great point. Either blacks being too blue/grey/light, whites being too bright, text being hard to read, icons being washed out, etc. I've tried quite a few settings and other icc's and was hoping to get a few suggestions.

I'm trying to get as close to my old monitor as possible, for the obvious reason of its what I'm use to. Comparing them more along with just have deeper blacks it almost seems to have a orange tinge to it.

Current settings

Quote

contrast: 30

brightness: 18

eco: standard

gamma: 3

dcr: off

overdrive: off

game: off

shadow: 50

colour: user

red: 50

green: 50

blue: 48

slight comparison. The pictures don't really do much for showing the differences as they are different panels and the tn side gets washed out.

You can try my settings, described here:

It won't be optimized to match your old monitor of course, but it gives an acceptable image for me.

I already am using your settings, just up'd the brightness a little cause i felt it looked a little better. colours also might be slightly different by 1 or 2.
