Monitor 60hz vs 75hz

Hello guys i want to buy a new monitor.I am between a 110euro 60hz samsung monitor and a 155 75hz aoc monitor and i wonder if the 15more hz that the aoc gives me is worth for 45 euros(about 55 dollars the difference)

I would say it depends. I like having the extra 15Hz personally(I use a Dell SE2717HR), but to some people it wouldn't make a difference.

No, you can just overclock the samsung monitor to 75hz if needed, but the difference is not that big between 60 and 75 anyways.

I hear it can kill your monitor, but the nvidia control panel seems to be pretty safe. It reverts the changes after 20 seconds unless you click accept.

i5-8600k, MSI Z370-A Pro, 2x 8GB DDR4-3k, MSI Gaming X 1060, NZXT S340, 2TB HDD, 750w Corsair PSU, AOC 2775 OC'd to 80Hz and CFG73 at 144hz

Comic sans is the worst font

Check out my monitor overclocking guide

Not necessarily - some displays can only reach a few hz higher than stock without issues.  And you could overclock both so the 75 hz would still be faster.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
