Hi I was wondering if i should wait for the gs9 or get the iphone x

Not specific enough, this is such a broad question with many variables. What do you do on your phone, what's your current phone, what do you want from a new phone, do you have a preference between iOS and Android, are you open to other options etc

Its a matter of do you prefer android or ios.

Both phone will be just as good.

I currently have a 6s plus, i really like it but its kinda getting old,I really dont care about the software im only decideing on three phones and thats it,

First phone: Iphone x 64gb model plus Airpods

Second phone: Iphone x 256gb

Third phone; GS9 Plus

I would like to buy some airpods but im worried about th amount of storage i use, is 64gb enough?

I dont really take pictures but i dont care about the camera all i care about is the specs and storage, I really like the multitasking on the x but what storage do i need for it 64gb or 256gb

I went with the 256gb coming from a 64gb 6s plus and man do I love it. I really use my phone more due to the increase of space. I am currently using over 160gbs on it and 75gbs are just from apps alone. You won't regret it. It's also NVME storage

Here's the thing OP.

 

What exactly are you going to do on these phones? Are you going to be using everything the S9 offers or are you more of the "set it and forget it" type of person who literally only does one setup and never touches it aside from wallpaper for years?

 

The X is a very good phone and leaks indicate the S9 will be so as well. But it really comes to what exactly do you want to use your phones for. If you're a feature freak, the S9 will be a very good option. If you prefer simplicity however, then the X might be better, although you will need to relearn navigation since the X has a drastically different method of navigation.

 

In regards to the headphones, do you prefer in-ear or over-ear type? I can recommend the PXC 550 without reservation, however. They're amazing.

If you have an iPhone and have enjoyed it until now, you probably want another iPhone.  All your familiar apps will carry over unchanged; it'll maintain a consistent experience.  And the iPhone X is generally considered great, so it'll be hard to go wrong.

 

Whether or not 64GB is enough depends on your habits.  Check your storage in settings -- if you have, say, 64GB total (it'll show as less due to necessary formatting/overhead) but still have 20GB remaining, you don't need a 256GB phone.  It depends a lot on your habits: do you stream music, or keep local copies of every song on your phone?  Do you have a ton of apps, or just a modest amount that meet your needs?  Do you record a lot of video, or do you only care about still photos?  If you're not aggressively chewing up space, 64GB is probably fine.

 

Also, on the Bluetooth headphone front, I'd also consider BeatsX.  They're not completely cordless (there's a band joining the two earbuds), but they use the same chip as the AirPods, they sound better and they're more stable if you like to run.

S9+ if it's to replace my Note8 

 

Only for the fact that I've been an Android guy for over half a decade at this point. 

 

That said, I would get the X if I choose to keep the Note.
