At most, in the newer processors, it would be around a 5% reduction in speed. The problems would be far more prevalent in an older processor, something like an 6 or 7 year old 2 core would see significant issues.

gtx 1060 with i5 7300hq or gtx 1060 with 7700hq???

does i7-7700hq makes any difference in gaming performance?? or i5-7300hq is enough for gaming

acer predator i5 with gtx 1060 vs acer predator i7 with gtx 1060

In theory the i5 is fine for gaming but I would definitely go with the i7. The laptop will last a good bit longer.

That's an F in the profile pic

If you are feeling rich, get the i7. If budget is a huge concern then get the i5. Both able to play game fairly well (depending on what games you play).

At most, in the newer processors, it would be around a 5% reduction in speed. The problems would be far more prevalent in an older processor, something like an 6 or 7 year old 2 core would see significant issues.
