verizon mobile hotspot with unlimited data

So ive been using my mobile hotspot for work and other stuff for the past week cause of no internet  i hate spectrum anyways i own a S8 with unlimited texting calls and data... but so ive used up 22gbs of data (my job includes alot of downloading files) and ive just started wondering if my mobile hotspot usage will have a big thing in my bill this month... will it make a big thing in my bill or is it just as normal since i have unlimited everything

They might start to throttle you after a certain point, not sure what Verizon's number is, but T Mobile is about 50GB depending on if the tower is congested.

Well, considering the past, and many "Unlimited" providers kicking people off their network, I dont think you know what Unlimited means. Because it does not mean down load the internet each month w/o consequences. All providers I have been with have had an acceptable use policy in their TOS. Giving them the right to cut you off if they feel you used too much data. Some providers like Comcast figured out, that charging more for data usage is most profitable then kicking data hogs off the network.

well then call your provider to get an answer, how are we better then them? they can tell you the exact right answer we can just guess.

 

i have unlimited with t mobile and use easily 30gb a month (i use it as a hotspot when i comp game its better then my 1 down my ISP gives me)  and i dont get charged extra

Yeah, thats because T Mobile is ran by the most awesome CEO in the business. Also, T Mobiles data threshold is 50GB, then they de prioritize your packets if the tower is full. Most wireless providers have a similar policy at different data amounts. 

 

Oh and some providers will hide this fact. Up til about 2006 Comcast hid the cap of 250 GB of data in a month. As they would kick users off for using too much data. It got so bad the Government (FCC) got involved and told them to give the customers a god damned number. They came up with 250 GB. But if you actually go to your providers web site and actually read the TOS, no numbers are given for what they feel is unacceptable. T Mobile doesnt really give a fuck, as some one who used several TB of data tweeted at John Legere (CEO) and he thought it was cool. So yeah. The fact is, these companies can do what ever the fuck they want, they are the ones who own the government.
