can i use a t2 cooler master without a bracket

so the tip of 2 of the 4 pointy parts of my cooler master  hyper T2 air cooler for my CPU have a bent piece ill put up a picture when i can but i am reaally tired so anyway is it healthy for my computer to be on its side ebacsue i know thermal paste is not cement but still the cooler shouldnt move when the fan is running (loud either hopefully) but just wanted to make sure

Not having the cooler evenly and firmly mounted can drastically worsen performance.

yeah i guessed that much lol (FML) but i have 4 bucks so cant buy a new one for now and will mx-4 thermal paste keep it from moving? o.O

If the cooler is moving without thermal paste, it'll move with thermal paste.

buy a pack of zip ties and just run them through the motherboard in an x pattern over the cooler block, i am using that methon on a hyper 212 i dont have mounting hardware for and it works fine

As a person guilty of breaking the push pins on an Intel CPU cooler, agreed.

You should go the Linus route, and zip tie the cooler into the motherboard.

Nope. Without any tying (zipties etc.), you could leave mobo horizontally and hope for best.
