polls in status updates

okay so this idea came from a joke but I would like to know if possible

 

okay so I wanted to do a Laundry sauce vs Tide pods poll as a joke and I realized that it would most likely be locked as a post that was better suited as a status update, so I went to start the post but found I couldn't make the poll 

 

 

so anyway would this be possible to make in the future to have status update polls?

Idk, but I preffer tide pods, laundry sauce is a bit too harsh to my throat,

well, if you can make a decent case that the discussion has merit you'd probably be fine in general discussion, especially if you include a question like, which is more effective at removing swamp butt stink after a 24 hour lan party?"

It's not possible, but you can use a service like strawpoll.

I actually find this idea quite sensible. Being able to interact through status updates would be a good addition to the existing service IMO.
