SteamOS Dual Boot?

Heyo! I've seen SteamOS and wanted to use it as a dual boot for a HTPC for the sake of simplicity when launching games. However, I also need full Windows for the sake of running CAD and other software. Any recomendations for this, as it seems to be that SteamOS wipes hard drives clean when installed.

Who needs fancy graphics and high resolutions when you can get a 60 FPS frame rate on iGPUs?

going to give this a try with a spare 120gb ssd I have. I'm running windows on an M.2 right now. I'll let you know if it goes as planned and if I'm able to dual boot when finished.
