Even the slowest DDR4 is 4-5 times the speed of the fastest NVMe-drive, so replacing RAM with an NVMe-drive would be a very stupid thing to do. Luckily, it's not even possible.

So instead of just buying less ram he wants his computer to run as slow as a potato?
