Opinions on this build?

Yeabuddy

Hi, i'm planning on buying/building this:

PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GmWHkT

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor  ($405.98 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($94.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($151.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($199.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive  ($127.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($116.39 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GAMING X Video Card  ($765.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Fractal Design - Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case  ($86.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($83.98 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit  ($89.89 @ OutletPC)
Case Fan: Fractal Design - X2 GP-12 (Black) 52.3 CFM  120mm Fan  ($10.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $2134.86

Budget: $2500. Since i'm buying most of these parts in-store from Microcenter I will be buying the protection plan on the main parts (CPU, GPU, etc). I'm guesstimating this will increase my total to around $2500.

---------------------------------------------

Usage: Gaming, video editing/rendering, virtual machines, web development

Monitors:

  • 1440p 144hz IPS G-Sync (Gaming on high)
  • 1080p 60hz (Browsing/Editing)
  • 1080p 60hz (Other)

Features wanted:

  • Overclockability
  • Motherboard with bluetooth
  • Case with above average airflow.
  • Gunning for positive air pressure. 240mm rad+fan in the front intake, 240mm fans top intake, 120mm rear exhaust.

Note: The Meshify C is known for being a small case, but I did some calculations on if it's possible to have the rad+fan in the front:

  • 395mm (available space)
  • 55mm radiator + fan (H100i)
  • 290mm (GPU)
  • 345mm total hardware space
  • 50mm remaining

So it will be pretty close but it should be ok. If not i'll just put the rad on top anyway. Anyway, before I actually buy anything though I just want some second opinions on the build in case I missed anything :)

I think it’s pretty good, seeing your budget there is not much that can be done

Ah yes I forgot to mention my budget is about $2500. The total is $2100 right now, but i'm also guesstimating the protection plan on a lot of these parts will add up close to $2500. I'm planning on buying the majority of these parts from Microcenter.
