This PC has a fan that was installed sideways my gf and i didn't understand so we sent it back. we then got a new one and it also was installed sideways so we called customer support in which they told us that its supposed to be sideways.

But here is the thing, it was making an obvious sound that a fan makes when its hitting metal. The customer service rep said that's also normal too. Is this correct?

Look at the picture, the fans on an angle.

You'll have to point it out to me cause i'm not seeing any angled fans from the pictures.

Ohh the cpu heatsink fan, i was looking at the case fans lol.

Yeah that's normal for the stock coolers they use in pre-builts. They can be obnoxiously loud and make weird noises, so that's probably the sound you're hearing.

Both fans on that pic are very much normal. One being normal exhaust and other being stock cooler. You can control fan speed from BIOS or with mobo manufacturers software. But see if the cooler fan really is the one making noise.
