Read the original thread.  Yeah...it must suck to have overprotective parents.  Would've replied to the original post, but I didn't have anything helpful to say that hadn't already been said.  I did like the one guy's comment, though.  Y'know..."Portal is an FPS."  First, he's right.  Second, Portal doesn't involve shooting at anybody.  All you do is shoot at walls to create...well...portals between two points in order to solve puzzles.  I liked his point so much because he called out one of the most glaring flaws in your parents' judgment.  "FPS" and "violence" are not synonyms.
