Slim flat heatsink suggestions

Hi, I bought this 

SilverStone SST-NT08-115XP

 

For an i7 7700k build and I am thinking that maybe I should get something better.  I am a Music producer and record so I prefer a slim heatsink but I am thinking that this heatsink isn't great.  I don't need anything crazy I am not playing games, just browsing and recording music.  Any suggestions?

Is there a big difference in performance from this heatsink to a taller one?  Also quieter is better.  I would prefer a quiet build.

Heatsinks are pretty straight forward. The bigger the better (usually) it depends on how much clearance your have above your CPU. The Noctua NH-L9i is probably the best for the size but even then it's not that great especially for a 7700K which can get toasty

What case and ram are you using? Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

I have a sharkoon ca-m (but I am not settled on this)

 

Ram is Ddr4 rgb 16gb Corsair

 

Located in Spain

 

I don't want to spend more than 50 or so.

I would really like to stick with a smaller case as I don't want a standard MATX

I have a AsRock z270-m extreme 4

I am considering a kolink satellite or a 

Silverstone sg10

 

I really like nanoxia deep silence 4 but they are too big.  If they made smaller versions with less features I would be on it.  The inwin 301 looks decent too but is tight for storage.
