Upgrading MOBO + CPU need help

My current spec is ( build in 2012/2013 )

OS : Win 10
MoBo : Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
CPU : Intel i7-2600 @3.40Ghz 8CPUS
Memory : Patriot 16GB (4x4GB) DDR 3
GPU : MSI GAMING GTX 1060 6GB ( upgraded 1 month ago from GTX 560Ti )
PSU : ANTEC 650W 80 BRonze
STORAGE : 250GB 850 EVO ( Upgraded few days ago just for PUBG ) , 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD ( Windows Installed here ) , 30GB SSD (Torque), 1TB HDD (WD Blue)

CASE : Corsair Carbide Spec Alpha Black/Grey ( Upgraded few days ago )

Cpu Cooler : Cryorig M9i ( Installed and then made my pciex socket failed or damaged i dont know why my gpu wont work )

I am currently playing Players Unknown Battleground ( PUBG ) and with this pc my fps always dropped, not as smooth as my second pc with i5 6400 + gtx 960 4gb.

I am looking for new MOBO + CPU + ( RAM+ PSU if it necessary ) for upgrading mine since I don't know why after I installed new air cooler my gpu wont work on my motherboard but worked on another PC.

I don't think I need the new Z370 Mobo and Cofee Lake CPU for now since Z370 not compatible with current kabylake CPU as well then I want to upgrade into B250 / H270 Series MOBO + i5 / i7 and I am not going to overclock.

So, any recommendation for mobo , cpu, psu, ram are welcome.

Cheers.

You will need new motherboard, CPU and RAM.

What's your budget?

I would concider i5 8600k even if you said that you are not interested in coffe lake. It's amazing chip for gaming and productivity.

i5 8600k is cofeelake right? The reason I dont want to upgrade to cofeelake is because in my country there is no stock at the moment until early next year and also the MOBO. But, I need to change my rig now since I cant use my GPU on my current MOBO because I don't know why it doesn't work after I installed new air cooler.

Yeah it is.

Probbably the best CPU for gaming avaliable right now.

6 strong cores, that beat any i7 4c/8t CPU.

Easy to overclock and keep temps in check.

As you can't use Coffee Lake, use the i7 7700k if you want the best performance right now. You may want to wait for Coffee Lake to be released in your country, as it would be better value.

it would be wasted right to get 'K' if I am not overclocking? Since I am using my pc right now only for gaming hehe
