Thoughts on these laptops

30op

Hi Peeps,

I'm looking at getting a laptop for school and playing rocket league. can I have some thoughts on these two laptops. If you want to suggest one please make sure it is under £1000 but if it is over give me a good reason why.

One has an RX 460 2GB and the other an MX150 2GB

Also I don't want a chunky monkey!!!

ideapad. better gpu and CPU, but missing out on NVME SSD, but who needs NVME when you have an SSD?

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

I'd say that Omen is a better deal overall compared to the other 2 (if you don't mind battery life and weight much) because the i7-7700HQ inside the Omen beats the U CPUs in those 2 quite significantly in terms of raw performance (4c8t vs 2c4t). You're getting 2 storage as well (SSD+HDD combo). The GTX 1050 perform slightly better than the RX 560 (they're hand in hand, but the 1050 wins by a bit)
