MaxPlaysGames

Hey, so i found out i still have a Windows 7 CD lieng around, now, should i get WIndows 10 for my new PC or Win7?

I heard 10 has issues and problems sometimes with gaming, so is it worth getting 10?

Okay, just heard that in the latest update there were some issues with gaming, and that windows 10 has some background stuff running that draws gpu and cpu power

inb4 haters pop up, Windows 10, and I'd recommend going for Win 10 PRO if you're really paranoid about reboots mid-game

I think that was just for a small portion of users, its not really a widespread problem of stuttering. I haven't noticed anything drawing significant power, though I have disabled some of the telemetry (At least what I can do in reg edit).

Windows 10 for sure, especially given it's a new build. Anything past Skylake, and also Ryzen don't officially support W7, so there might be issues. You are also getting DX12, which is becoming more and more significant. Using brand new hardware with an eight year old OS isn't a good idea.

There's very few reasons to go for Win7 with new builds at this point. Only if you would have some software which doesn't support Win10. But for gaming use, there's no reason to go with older OS.

First off, there is no major issue with windows 10. You can game as much on it as you can game on windows 7. Why windows 10 over windows 7? Updates...

Asking if this windows is better than that or what is useless. It would have made sense if you were coming from Windows 98/NT/ML :)

Even if there would be difference in FPS, it would be like 0.41-1 FPS.
