I pretty much have 150 dollars burning a hole in my wallet and i cant decide weather to upgrade my gaming pc from 16 to 32gb of ddr4 3000 or wheather I should get a used imac just for fun and maybe light usage

why spend it when you don't need to?

32gb of ram is much more useful than a used imac. a used imac you're going to get is probably something along the lines of a g3 or a g5, apple stuff has stupidly high resell value.

It's a gaming PC. Right now, you really don't need 32GB of RAM. 16GB is fine for basically all AAA titles. What's your build? There's a chance we might see something that you could upgrade.

i currently have a gaming pc which shows the specs on my account, a macbook, a acer netbook, and some crap windows vista computers

I mainly collect this stuff for fun

It says on your profile that you already have 32GB of RAM... anyway as WoodenMarker said, that RX470 is (to some degree) bottlenecking you for some titles. Hold on to that cash, and you might be able to sell that 470.

I'd recommend a 1070 or 1080 depending on how much you get for the 470 and how much more you save up.

how would you go about selling it as on ebay there are alot of scams and I dont want someone to buy it and later screw me over by saying it was "not as described"

What? Buyers aren't gonna scam you... Just take a lot of photos of it, take them well, and describe any issues with it. For example, if there was a crack in the plastic on the cooler, you would mention it in the product description. However, you have to describe it well.

 

DO - Mention all problems, how long you've had the issues, and show pictures where applicable.

       - Say how long you've had the card.

 

DON'T - Make anything up.

            - Understate issues.

how much should i sell it for with or without shipping and considering the ebay fees? On ebay they range from 290-600 dollars though If i sell it I want it sold Fast

I only see one other used card up on ebay for 316 USD. If you want to sell it fast, put it up for less than that. Unless you have the original packaging, you'll have a hard time selling it for any more than say, $260.

Do you need 32 GB of RAM? Honestly I don't see the point in buying a used imac if you already have a PC. You could save up some more money and buy a new GPU. No need to though, if you are happy with the performance of your RX 470. Just because you have money doesn't mean you need to spend it. Save it or invest in something.
