Dell XPS 8700

franman

Hello tech community,

I currently own a Dell XPS 8700 prebuilt desktop and these are the following specs I find:

CPU: i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz

RAM: 24 GB

Current Graphics Card: GTX 650Ti

What graphics card for this model do you recommend I upgrade to in order to get the best performance for many modern PC titles and of course without bottlenecking.  Well to be specific I want to get the new upcoming Monster Hunter Frontier for my pc.

GTX 1080 or 1080ti shouldn't bottleneck at all. What the PSU in thing rated for and what resolution monitor do you currently have

look at the specs of your GTX650Ti, something more modern in that range.

it'll always remain a dell chassis, and they have their limits :P

the stock PSU it has is a 460Watts

depending on your budget

you can stick to a GTX 1060 6GB unit with the stock PSU or go for the PSU upgrade and go with the GTX 1080 or the upcoming Vega 56 GPU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I do have a Corsair TX750W PSU on an older computer, I may plan on swapping it with Dell's PSU.

As for the monitor I have a Dell S2340L, which supports only up to 1080P and has a HDMI and VGA port.

With that said what graphics card should I aim for?

I need to bump this because no one is responding to my latest inquiry.

With that monitor and the PSU I plan on swapping what graphics cards would you recommend?
