Need a 350~400$ish Build

SpeederT12

Hello lads,

So a person requested a pc build with a really tight budget so what should I use? New parts are not required, I just need some guidance on what parts I should choose. I'm not that good with budget parts to be honest :d.

What will they be using the PC for?

Best Excuses:

#1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

#2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."

That's the problem, gaming.

Get A Used Optiplex With An i7 For About 200, Then Maybe A 1050-1050 TI.  Maybe Also Get A Better PSU.

I live in Bulgaria, so i would prefer parts list. The market here is quite.. Weird

if new parts ,here is an idea for you, since he wants for gaming, its very hard for such a tight budget though. Note that I didnt add case, get whatever good & cheap you can & same goes for Ram. any ddr4 2400mhz 8gb kit the cheapest you can get is okay. Pc part picker didnt show much reliable H110m boards, but you might find few H110 chipset ones more cheaper probably in your local stores & I recommend gigabyte. I think this set up can pull 1080p gaming on medium to high setting at 60 fps :)

CPU: Intel - Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($78.87 @ OutletPC)

Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card  ($144.88 @ OutletPC)

It's over but this way it allows for an upgrade path when this person has more money due to RyZen being a four year platform; as such I made it so the other parts wouldn't need to be upgraded - motherboard, PSU; More ram in the future would be the next step, then a better CPU when Zen 2 is out or a new GPU.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($82.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: ADATA - Premier Pro SP600 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($56.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate - BarraCuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($44.38 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 560 2GB PULSE Video Card  ($113.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Cooler Master - N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case  ($38.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $567.30

To stay in budget I would make the PSU worse in quality and not have an SSD. This would mean the system over all is slower and down the line, you would need to spend more money on the PSU making this a two-time purchase vs going slightly over budget. Even then, it's $100 over as other people missed parts such as a case.

Does this person have spare parts such as a case or HDD? That would put this build into his budget if so.

New parts are NOT required! Guidance for good old parts?

I'm not best to guide for old parts & am not sure the availability in your place. anyway old part might not be best for long run but a Quad core i5 paired with used gtx 970 or 1050 ti/ 1060 (if get lucky to find one cheap) & 8gb ddr3 ram might fit in budget & be okay for him. But must get a New Psu even other components are collected old. I hope some other will help you out more precisely :)
