Best laptop for engineers

Hi guys. I am looking for a laptop that can be sufficient through college. I am going to major in engineering but I do not know what laptop to buy. BTW I also will be doing some video gaming and some video editing some time to time. Which laptop for engineers?

Depending on your budget, You should look that has at least 8GB RAM, i7 Quad-core and either a Quadro-based GPU or something with decent GPU (GTX 1050 or above). And what other factors are you looking for? Screen? Weight?

I am thinking of doing mechanical engineer and I do not think that the budget will be a problem. Anything under $3000 will be OK.
