Legendary Windows XP Game Titles?

Need a list of titles for my new windows XP gaming build. I have a few on Steam, but anything anyone can think of would be appreciated. Say, the old games you'd find on early 2000's library computer- like Freddie fish and put put. All the way up to stuff like Halo and starwars battlefront (the good old one).

 

Specs:
Pentium4 HT @ 3.4Ghz

Nvidia 6600GT AGP

4GB 400Mhz RAM

75GB SATA HDD

Dual IDE DVD drives (because XP box)

 

StarWarsBattlefront2 plays real solid on the setup. Running everything in 720p till I get a nice trinitron for cheap.

 

Now why you may ask? Windows Xp games tend to not work on windows 10...so, why not?

You can try running old CS titles like 1.6 and MAYBE source too.

Star Wars Empire at War (Gold Pack of course) and Civ IV. Those were my staples

I'm sure I was playing mostly CS:Source, Guild Wars and Oblivion on a system not too different with the same GPU at the time. Does that GPU come in 128 & 256 flavours?

Yes. The AGP version is 128, and the PCIe one is 256.

I have a 2nd XP box that isn't put together, and got a 6800 GS PCIe card for it. Is a early socket 775 board that can only use Pentium 4's and Pentium D's. It's top P4, however, runs at 3.8Ghz. I'm missing RAM and a competent PSU for it to run the 6800.

I remember buying the 128 just to get home and find out it was a dud. Quick search online and found another branch of the same shop that had 1 left in stock, but it was miles away. Got home about 10 at night, fitted the card and was Guild battling on Guild Wars till about 4 in the morning ?, good days.

Stronghold and Stronghold crusader. i`m from 2000 and i destroyed those games on a vista laptop (not xp i know but the games came out in 2001 and 2002

Civilization III game was one of the best civs in my opinion.
