Nvidia Shield TV worth it?

Creed1

Is the nvidia shield tv worth it? I already have a ps4/xbox/pc/slow vizio smart tv, but I am interested in using it because of the streaming capabilites. Will it work for streaming 1080p 60fps on a 5GHz Wireless network?

It is nice for streaming, but don't use it for CSGO. Steam in home streaming is better

So Steam Link? Will that work good for 60fps 1080p streaming?

Yes, steam link is much cheaper but it is not exactly a media player. It is specifically for streaming games

Here is my deal. I travel frequently. I have a $300 with 2 5GHz Channels at one location. And another location with a AT&T router that has a 5GHz Channel. Should I go for it?

Yes.I use a 2.4gnz band and it's still better than a console

Go for it. You will get good results with 5GHz in your house. But if you can feed it ethernet, it's even better. It's a great value.

Hello! I'm new here. I'm following Linus for a while on youtube. BUT, from today I'm glad to join this community hopping have great time here.

My first post is about all this Hardware boxes.

I own an nVidia Shield 2017 second gen, BUT I like if Linus can found more info, or maybe do some test of give to us some info like only he can do.

That's all about 4K content w/ HDR sound features and one of those devices promises can handle the 24fps issue that is not found in other devices like apple tv, roku ultra, etc.

The devices are:

1- Zappiti ( Zappiti dot com)

2- KDLinks A400 (kdlinks dot com)

3- Zidoo (zidoo dot tv)

I'm apologise if this is not the right place to post this.
