In The Loop: Custom Loop Help!

So I'm working on a build that I want to put a loop into (cpu and gpu) but I need some ideas. This build is directed towards gaming, so im sticking with the I7, so please save yourself time and dont say switch to ryzen. Also im sticking with soft tube so  yeah. Just tell me what parts you use in your loop!

I would recommend the P series kit from EKWB, those are a good base to build on. The P 360 kit is a good option if you want to add in a GPU block.

EKWB is on the table, they make quailty products. Also is their a website like pcpartpicker foe loops?

I used the EK Supremacy Block for my CPU Block, this radiator, this pump/reservoir, primoflex tubing (includes PT Nuke) , couple of fittings, dye to stein water and tubes and went to the store and bought some distilled water. Add a gpu block and more of those fittings.

The EK Supremacy Block is most likely what Im going to use, I like the way it looks and its very good at what it does. For radiators I was thinking 1 360 and 1 240

well, you could look at the ek liquid all aluminum kit, if you want to add extra rad space or anything you just have to make sure you get an all aluminum rad, copper (most watercooling stuff) + aluminum=bad juju  or you can look at cards that come with a water block preinstalled, or look for a waterblock first and then get the gpu to match (since blocks are made to fit the custom board designs) and ek isn't like pcpartpicker, they're a pc cooling specialty manufacturer/store focused on water cooling with some more exotic options available

im trying to stay away from aluminum.

I'm not going to use the combo because it will make it easier to make a drain line. Also wouldnt you put the 360 after the gpu becuase it generates most of the heat compared to the cpu

Their aluminum kits are not a problem since everything within the loop must be aluminum, currently options for blocks are limited but more options should come out soon.

Loop order makes no difference really, as long as the res is above and right before the pump so it doesn't run dry.

Don't go all EK for the sake of brand consistency.  Their stuff is average.

I barely have my pump running right now (speed of 1.5 / 5) and the difference between the inlet and outlet after 2 GPU's is only a couple degrees C full load.  For all practical purposes just plumb everything in the easiest way possible and don't worry about order (except for keeping the pump filled).

Yes you are right.

When the temp stabilizes it doesn't matter, you could put a radiator between the cpu and gpu and it wouldn't matter once the water warmed up to the ambient.  Maybe a few c on the cpu, that's it.

cool, like I said as long as you make sure that anything you add is aluminum then it performs really well and tends to be cheaper because aluminum cost less than copper, and is easier to manufacture as I understand. At the end of the day it's your loop so do what you like.

all you need is a couple fittings a T/Y junction, ball valve and a pass through if the ball valve doesn't have a male connector. the kits provide a fair amount of tubing, again your loop your choice, just giving you some perspective

low point in the loop. the kits just have all the basic components, you'd need to grab those few parts for the drain but you're building the whole loop from all the parts either way
