perhaps a RX 550 or 560? Anything more probably will bottleneck

im sick of playing DXD10 games on this PC , planning the GPU is the first move to DXD11 if not 12 I guess.

all what im thinking of is the bottleneck so im not sure which NVidia card should I get in order to avoid a bottleneck with the CPU

1- what is the best Nvidia graphics card to get for the following specs :
    a- gigabyte GA-ep43-ds3l (DDR2 based system)
    b- 8 GB Ram
c- Core 2 duo E8200 (6m cache, 2,70 mhz) with beast cooling system

d- shitty ass old ugly GT130 from Nvidia (1.5 GB)

2- dose the E8200 - gigabyte GA-ep43-ds3l supports overclocking ? how hard can I go on overclocking this old beast ? (overheating is solved with my new bigass heat sink  )

3- can a beast DDR3 graphics card run on DDR2 Motherboard?

thanks in advance

Then get rid of the old desktop and use your laptop instead.

I would recommend to scrap your desktop and use your laptop until you can afford a new system. You can keep the storage devices and the case. Maybe build like a mid range system, maybe i5 or r5 based with a rx 580 or a 1060.

my mate has an i7 970 and I lent him my rx 460 to see if he could just upgrade his gpu to get into more recent gaming and there was a huge CPU bottle neck. Arc Survival wouldn't exceed 45 fps, whether it was low or ultra details

Edit: Although above 30fps the experience was very clunky and not at all playable
