Old HDD

Azriel

If I am buying a new mobo, CPU, gpu, and ram, would I be able to just use my old HDD or would I have to get a whole new drive and windows?

I hate to ask so many questions but is that all I need to do? Just make sure I have the activation key and the discs?

So is this SATA? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088PUEPK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  I know that it says SATA in the title but I just want to be clear. I would hate to have to buy a new drive or windows installation.
