But please don't pair a high end rig with a mediocre EVGA NEX. And the stock cooler is also more than enough. R5 1600 isn't capable of doing high refresh rate either so that's also a bottleneck there.

What R5 1600? It has a R7 1700. And that PSU will suffice, it's not the greatest, but it's not terrible

It is terrible https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/NEX750G/11.html

Quote
  • Price
  • Loose voltage regulation on all rails except for the 5V rail
  • Crossload test results
  • 3.3V rail failed on the second Advanced Transient Response test
  • Noisy fan (at high speed)

Still for a gaming oriented build an i7 7700k does much better, especially high refresh rate

If you are near a Microcenter and have .k12 or .edu email, then you can get the G502 for 30 dollars atm.

the one I picked are great, I can provide reviews for each of them

For the i7 7700k i think it's self explanatory

For the Cryorig H5 it's a great cooler for that price (note Universal and Ultimate are literally the same)

Overclocked load puts it between some 120mm water coolers while 120mm are notorious to be loud due to the pump

https://www.eteknix.com/cryorig-h5-universal-cpu-cooler-review/3/

http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6966/cryorig-h5-universal-cpu-cooler-review/index6.html

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CRYORIG/H5_Universal/6.html

As for the SSD, it's just a little behind one of the fastest SATA drive, the 850 Evo while costing significantly less

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sk-hynix-sl308-ssd-review,4583-2.html

RAM is just RAM, HDD is just HDD nothing to say here much

1080 Windforce is a great card for cheap, pretty much the same as the G1 which reviewed here

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_geforce_gtx_1080_g1_gaming_review,9.html

(max temps is 72 on load which is really nice)

The Bitfenix Whisper is also a great PSU, the 750w reviewed here

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=503

And the 550w review is also here

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/bitfenix-whisper-series-550w-psu,4805-11.html

Keyboard is MX Red, doesn't have RGB but I guess it will suffice. Since I was kinda out of options (as you can see already hitting a $2000 limit) but if you can feel free to change to whatever you want.

You have 20,085 posts, you have been on the forum for 347 days. 347 days x 24 hours = 8328 hours. 8328 hours x 60min per hour = 499,680 minutes. 499,680 minutes / 28,085 posts = 24.88. There for you've made 1 post every 25 min
