Should I preorder Splatoon 2 on Amazon?

The download code lets me preorder the game.

Can I download the game before it comes out like the Xbox One or will Amazon just send me an email?

 

Also, will the preorder let me get the game sooner than getting it on the eShop? Because some games that have a release date of like, Monday (for example), you can't actually buy the game until Monday night at like 9PM.

it's a digital code. i don't think it'll ever run out of stock.. unless you want pre-order bonuses

Oh yeah I have prime, but I'm going on a trip the same day it comes out so I wanna play it on the trip.
