First PC Build

Just built my first PC and am super excited about it. Thankfully I barely got a 1060 before they went out of stock everywhere. Total cost was about 900 all in including windows. Thankfully I saved some money by using the stock wraith cooler which seems to do well enough and my friend Cody gave me his old NZXT case. Gaming as well as work is amazing and buttery smooth on my LG 29inch ultrawide 5ms 75hz IPS 1080 monitor and the 1060 does great at staying between 60-75fps for all my games on very high-ultra settings. Learned a lot while building and thanks to everyone for being so helpful and insightful. Cant wait to build a better one down the road.

Parts:

Ryzen 5 1600 (using included wraith cooler) $210

EVGA 1060 SSC graphics Card  ($280)

Corsair 16gb 3000 RAM ($126)

MSI B350 PC MATE Motherboard ($90)

Corsair 550W 80+ Gold Power Supply ($50)

WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive ($47)

SanDisk 120gb SSD ($60)

Nice build mate :)

Stock cooler from Ryzen does great job, at least at stock and mild overclock.

if you want to push over 3,7GHz on all cores, get some other cooler. But I'm pretty sure that you don't feel the need to overcock just yet, since even at stock settings that CPU is a beast.
