Yeah. I was installing a ton last night. Install the EASY mod loader as well (you drop the.exe in the GameData folder, next to BattlefrontII.exe). It lets you pick which mods to load, since Battlefront II can only handle 500 missions.

Oh I see, kinda like JSGME I guess. Yeah I'll figure it out. Are all of these MP compatible as well?

If everyone else has the same mods, then yes AFAIK. Though I'd recommend duplicating the vanilla install, and only installing the RCM mod, conversion pack, and v1.3 pack. I've played multiplayer with my sibs with those and it worked fine. We can test and see how many mods we can use. I could even upload my GameData folder (wouldn't be illegal, since you have to have the BattlefrontII.exe file to make it run, and then you can replace your GameData folder with it, so we have the same mods. I gotta sort out the bugs in mine though (it glitches once each match, then it's fine. Though it'd suck if it was the server), and get it hooked up to the internet.

Sweet. Also, I wonder if that glitch may be due to allocated memory with all the mods. Tried LAA (Large Address Aware)? (Backup your .exe)

Could be totally random of course.

Mostly, I'm getting it to be a gaming PC. Most games I play aren't too demanding. CSGO, insurgency, soon BF2, Dawn of War 1 WA DC, (not that soulstorm horse-shit), Fallout New Vegas.

.... so yeah, any GPU.

I actually had the opportunity about a month ago to get a 128mb gpu from a coworker. I turned it down though because I only have one x16 slot and I am certainly not planning on filling it with that

One of my favorites. I got all the useful DLC I lacked this past summer sale.

Honest hearts was okay, and Dead money was a SOLID hardcore experience for a 3D Fallout game.

Until recently I hadn't had much experience with the other DLC. Fallout NV is better than Fallout 4 IMO. I don't play with mods really. The game is still tons of fun without them.

It will take me some time as I have sporadic bursts of gaming, but if you want, as I get into the groove and start being able to tell what's what, I can help categorize a mini-repository here if you want.

Sure! Suggest them to me, I'll install them (moar mods?!?!? Yay!.... I guess?), test them, and then link them.

Yeah, I don't mean going completely HAM necessarily, just have a neat pack we can sync up with anyone who wants to try it out.

Just here's the link, these are the mods they are X Texture mods, X Mesh mods, X Effects mods, X Map mods, they comprise a nice little pack, here you go, job done.

Yup. I think you have to check with the creators before you re upload their stuff, but popping it all in a folder as a starter pack would be awesome. Though some guy did that on ModDB (with HarrisonFog's rezzed maps) and everyone got super mad at him, even though he credited HarrisonFog. (Say, if we could recruit him onto the forums, that'd be cool!).

Oh, derp, sorry, I should have stated that yeah, I don't want to cause a fuss like that. I mainly meant links. I don't like snatching content like that and putting it up elsewhere. It's easy enough to just have a list of links categories here for people just starting out is all.

Recorded some gameplay with the GCW 1035 mod and some of HarrisonFog's rezzed maps. I had to use the crappy win10 game bar recording software, since GeForce won't work until I have an internet connection to login (thus no ShadowPlay). Hopefully I'll get it edited up (had some issues getting used to switching DPI on my mouse) and add some titles and stuff soon. IDK what res it recorded in though...

EDIT: and I'll tag you, @LooneyJuice, since you aren't following the thread and will probs be interested. And I gotta add HarrisonFog's maps to the list.

Oh yeah, completely forgot about the follow function, thanks for the heads up. Also, I had a bit of a play and checking out the Nexus repository, everything's there as well. Been having some fun in the campaign again. Talk about freakin' variety.

Also, if you can somehow download OBS, it can double as just straight-up capture software and you can even use the Nvidia Encoder so it doesn't tax your system. Lots of peeps keep complaining about quality with the NVENC for some reason, but I honestly can't see the issue if you feed it a high enough quality preset and bitrate. I recently dumped GFE just out of curiosity, and I can basically do everything Shadowplay did and more, without GFE (so one less thing running in the background as well).

Cool. I'll look into downloading and using OBS. I'll try and record at at least 720p, I can't do 1080p though. My monitor is only 1680x1050, and anything above that chops of the edges of my game.

And yeah, the campaign is awesome, though you do jump from here to there to everywhere. Some level require you to use FakeConsole to win though. Like Kinghtfall, even on normal is incredibly hard/impossible, and there one level where (I tried it 3 times) I had to destroy the engines on a ship. I destroyed all of them expect the last one, and it wouldn't take any damage, no matter what I did. Missed the rest of that mission too. :(

And I've been playing a ton with Delta's GCW 1035 mod. The troopers look so good I just keep playing as them (and Boba Fett is totally OP and awesome for mowing down/flamethrowering rebel scum. Sadly, the rebel skins don't look as good, so I hardly play as them.

Prepare to be amazed by the 'after' mods! They improve the look massively.

Awesome! I started a discord server, PM me if you want me to add you/ you want to help me set it up. Never used Discord before, but it looks nice. And I gotta hook my PC up to the internet, but it's out of the lounge, through a hallway/ washing room, through the garage, and up some stairs. Thus it's way too far away for a good wifi signal or Ethernet cable, so I'm gonna bodge something together.

I recommend a really long ethernet cord or a wifi extender. I use something like the below link below and it works pretty well
