Does the monitor have to fit in the budget as well? What resolution should the monitor be?

Something with Ryzen 5, and a GTX 980 used. Much better value compared to RX 580 or GTX 1060 right now.

WHAT??? Right now they are selling for about $700-800 here in the US and Canada because of mining. Are you sure? Check yourself. Just search up RX 580.

229 EUR @JDE oh and the model of the GPU is GTX 1060 3GT OC

I would look for a 6 gb version.

I'm on my phone so can't do extensive research for you but you should look at something like this.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jqHpsJ

I'm euros it should roughly end up in your budget for sure if you reuse your old case then you can strip the case of the pcpp.

I'm not saying you should take specifically these parts but you could make your own build that roughly looks like this.

Good luck feel free to ask more.

@NLD1st Thanks for the build but I would rather look for something around 700-800 EUR, and the 6gb ones are pretty expensive at around 500 EUR here :P

The build I gave is 950$ do that in euros it's€ 830. Take out the case because you could use the one of your old build and you are under the 800.

But about the gpu that is why @JDE was so surprised. I think he assumed you were talking the 6 gb version. It's a bad time to buy gpu's. All the cards that make sense are being bought by miners. So only the crap cards like 1050ti or 1060 3 gb or the high end like 1080 ti are left for a price that makes sense for what you get. If you can try to ride out the mining boom with your current rig.

I can't say don't know 1060 6 gb bench mark you could look them up. The CPU is solid AFAIK. I have seen similar build pass by on the forum quite often so my guess it's fine.
