ryzen 8gb memory installed, only 4 usable (w10 64bit) bios reads 4gb memory

I have B350 msi PC mate mobo, and ram hyperx 8gb fury ddr4 2400mhz cl15 kit hx424c15fbk2/8.

In bios you can see in top right corner it shows 4 gb of memory only. but when i go into memory tab it shows 2 dimms populated (2 free, 4 slots) 2x4gb.

In windows 10/ 64 bit, it shows 8gb installed memory, but only 3.95gb usable.

Is that normal with ryzen?

Yes windows is 64 bit, tried xmp profiles, max memory in msconfig, updated to latest bios, cleared cmos.

Well that memory is on the QVL.

Have you tried using this bios? It has new Agesa features and should help your SK hynix sticks since other brands other than Samsung seem to have more issues.
