Please I need an answer for a serious question!

So I want to build a gaming PC  and I have to choose between 8GB of RAM or a GTX 1050 TI because one doesn't fit into my budget.I mostly want to play e-sport titles and some AAAs.

If you choose 8GB of RAM what GPU would you get?

If you choose the 1050 Ti what RAM would you get?

EDIT: Linking your current build with pcpartpicker.com would help as well. What is your CPU?

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler: Corsair H100i Platinum SE Mobo: Asus B550-A GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 XC RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz 16CL 4x8GB (DDR4) SSD0: Crucial MX300 525GB SSD1: Samsung QVO 1TB PSU: NZXT C650 Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow Monitor: Asus VG259QM (240Hz)

I def second this, but mainly GPU is more important in gaming

Gaming with 2GB of RAM is impossible nowadays. Getting a GPU that might be bottlenecked by a very old CPU is useless as well.

I agree with this, unless you can get the 1050 Ti and the 4GB of RAM, knowing that you will buy a second RAM stick in the near future when you save up money.

give us the entire build if you still havent bought everything but the RAM and GPU.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

But it has 4GB of VRAM. The RX 460 won't handle AAA title with decent textures just because of the VRAM.

Why? It's better than a 460

Also be a bit careful about using g4560 with h110 as there's a small chance they won't work together.

I know that perfectly. And I still stand by the fact that today's games require more than 2GB of RAM to be playable and more than 2GB of VRAM to be played with good textures. I never said that you need more than 2GB of VRAM to play a game. OP was asking about AAA titles, which eat a lot of VRAM as well.

OP was also talking about the 1050Ti not the 1050.
