G sync vs IPS HELP!

Make budget £450 (don't really wanna spend more than 400 unless it's really worth the 50) 

been looking for AGES and have almost decided on a dell.

I have a 1070 and I think I want g sync, I mostly play rpg's which makes me want IPS but I can't afford both, any advice? Which is best? Any better monitors in that price range (this dell is from American amazon as it's much cheaper)

Looks solid, although IMO I'd take IPS 144 over TN GSync although admittedly I haven't experienced GSync a whole lot (IPS however, hell yes, it's great)

Thanks for the quick response, I'm really torn to be honest. I've seen reviews of the monitor that say it has a very good display for tn...

That one is good. I've heard it has a pretty good display even though it's TN, and most 1440p IPS displays have pretty bad quality control so you end up with stuff like lots of backlight bleed. I think that's a pretty solid choice.

That's a though call. I'd go gsync over ips personally. 

 

But it I like both so that's why I game on an x34 lol. 

 

Ips is nice but I sometimes forget I'm playing on my TN panel when I have to wait at the office for a package so I play games.

I have the sam problem as you right now. IPS or Gsync- I can get the Asus MG279Q for 350 EUR or the Asus PG278Q for about 380 EUR. I asked the guy with the IPS Panel for a Glow test so he sent me this: https://gyazo.com/fd672712ba04727d9fa48c8a38937c08

Doesnt really look that well but I have heard that the camera makes it look really bad sometimes. Dont really now what to choose.
