Keypad for macros?

Is there any way to make an external keypad work as a macropad? Or are there any cheap macro-pad controllers that can be used for the same purpose? I would use something like this to open certain applications or put the computer to sleep, etc. I'm using windows btw... Thanks for any help!! :D:D

I recently bought an external keypad on a flea market. With AutoHotkey you can easily set up different functions or key combinations with it.

For me I am using a TKL board, so I was okay with that numpad's macros taking over the original keys, but if you want to have it as an additional keypad, you might want to look into LUAMacros, which is talked about in the above linked video.
