Yes, you get credit for printing it :P

I assume that was going to wait until it was actually done tho

Figured I'd give mini-updates :P

No, breadbee, makes honey for the breadwell

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I know you're probably not going to liquid cool this thing, but I feel like this block would work well in a project like this.

rads would have to be external unless you can fit them, the fans, and room to breath all in the space of a single slot card

It would be physically impossible for any rad small enough to fit to have anywhere near enough cooling power, and/or for its cooling power to approach what you could get with an ordinary dual slot air cooler.

Well, it turns out after a few redesigns and extensions that's possible under 3L, with separate loops for the CPU and GPU.

For everyone else though, updates are coming soonTM, but @iamdarkyoshi is doing some other things so he can't print anything atm.

It'd be interesting to liquid cool the whole thing, and make a seperate "heat dissipator module"

Maybe make one of those funky mobo/GPU sandwiches AMD did a while ago

No, everything would be in a single case.

Alright a mini update:
photo_2017-09-20_21-14-25.jpg.edeb94a3f5de21ba2ca4d76b66bbe64b.jpg

Right, so basically:
There's an n-channel MOSFET there, wired Gate to 12V from the fan header, Drain to the PS_ON pin on the 24 pin, and Source to ground (also on the 24 pin). The only soldering is by the fan header connection, and what this allows me to do is have the PSU turn on at the same time as the rest of the system.

i honestly dont get it. i have read this over, and over, and its not makeing any sense to me. to have the system turn on you need the PSU to be on, so why would you need to turn on the PSU when you turn on the system? the only thing i could think off is that either the motherboard has a build in PSU or "flip the PSU switch and the system turns on" and the last one dosent really make sense here

Because the motherboard uses a power brick, not a typical ATX PSU, one of which I need to power a graphics card.
