Here's an updated speedtest of mine. Keep in mind that this is going from the router, through multiple walls and up a floor and then through a range extender into a slightly dodgy ethernet cable into the PC which uses an Nvidia nFore network controller.

Wow, what a great download to upload ratio there! Is that actually a plan? We don't have any plans (that I've heard of) with that kind of difference in the US.

It is virgin media's top package of 200mbps fiber connection, the upload is ISP limited to 12mbps its not the highest ive seen in the UK by any means but it still kicks the crap out of most of the alternative ISP's here especially the price paid.

Virgin media charge me £50 a month with line rental for their top package, but another ISP would charge the same for "up to" 72mbps with an upload of around 6mbps which is silly as it runs down an ADSL line and they call it "fiber" which is misleading

I just destroyed many of you. Used my mother's laptop directly connected to the router via an Ethernet Cat.5e cable though. Gonna put some Powerline adapters by christmas. My wireless really sucks.

These old speeds, though. Do you have mobile included? They offer 100/100 at the very least for 3P.

200/100. Probably going to get Vodafone 1000/100 when I move :P

That speedtest which has 79ms ping is across Atlantic.

...that is WAYYY faster than anything I've ever used. But those powerline adapters are worth their weight in gold, if you only knew how many networks I have on my building...

This is what $80 a month gets you where I live. And there is no other option unless you decide to not have Internet/move.

Yeah. We get 200/20, but I have to use a range extender for an access point and that goes down to about 45-50/20. But it works, and I'm running my server off it.
