The internet really sucks in the UK as soon as you move out of a city or town. Lets hope that it doesn't take too long for BT/other ISPs to get their crap together and some decent internet to those who don't live in a city.

Believe it or not actually the truth in terms of customer service and reliability but not in the case of what there trying to do with net neutrality and the open internet but i believe that is separate of what the actual employees our trying to do

I'm in Northern Ireland on AOL, paying for upto 10Mb down ( the actual maxium I can achieve on my line is 8Mb). I challenge you to do worse.

I think I still have a screenshot somewhere of at&t DSL getting all of 0.12 down/0.10 up.

That was crap... Shortly afterwards we got comcast cable. Then, we moved and now are back on at&t, but this time over cellular with 30gb/month cap and drops out all the time.

Blaaaagh.

Edit: Actually, it's doing fairly well right now:

Edit again: Just realized that the post I quoted was over a year old. DERP!

Sorry about that.

"faster than 85% of SG" jesus, what does the other 15% have?!?

You can say the other 15% has 1Gbps. They're testing out the 2Gbps from Sony soon.

We pay for 105/25. I don't think I've every gotten better than 85.
